Heightened excitability of neuromuscular Capacity for being active & energetic Love of movement for its own sake Organic energy surplus Psychomotor expression of emotional tension Like a lot of movement/activity May talk faster & use lots of gestures May be impulsive Might sleep less than other students When upset Get nervous ticks Become overly competitive Feel need to organize

Heightened experience of sensual pleasure or displeasure Sensual expression and outlets for emotional tension Appreciation for aesthetic pleasures Dislike labels in clothing Love “good” smells, textures, tastes Hate “bad” smells, textures, tastes Sensitive to bright lights & harsh sounds Love being center of attention When upset: Overindulge Seek comfort/luxury

Heightened need to seek understanding and truth Intensified mental activity Penchant for probing questions, problem- solving Preoccupation: logic, theoretical thinking, developing new concepts Problems falling asleep at night because mind is racing Loves to be logical Enjoys brain teasers and puzzles Likes to figure things out, especially when complicated Seeks out truth & knowledge Is very observant When upset: Analyzes things to death
