2 Standard III: Teachers Know the Content They Teach Teachers recognize the interconnectedness of content areas/disciplines. Teachers promote global awareness and its relevance to the subjects they teach. Teachers make instruction relevant to students. 3 Each student receives a Journal and is expected to complete 4 parts: 1) Locate the place on a world map. 2) Create a heading. 3) Summarize the global issue. 4) Respond to the question.
