What is Blended Learning? This definition varies! Blended learning is the mixing of various teaching and facilitating methods. Blended Learning takes the form of – In Class Traditional Learning – On-Line Learning – Independent Learning

In Class Learning Refers to learning both in traditional classrooms with the teacher as the leader

On Line Learning Refers to learning through the web. Students learn on different websites assigned by the teacher to enhance their academic aptitude.

Independent Learning Refers to self-directed learning which is accomplished through skills-honing task assigned by the teacher. Independent study time also gives learners opportunities to pursue their own areas of interest.

Tiered Assignments Identify the standards, concepts, or generalizations you want the students to learn. Use varied levels of task to ensure skills are at a level that builds. While students work at varied degrees of difficulty, they all explore the same essential ideas and work at different levels of thought.

Scenario 2 Learning Stations Imagine a learning tool that helps review old material, teach new material, and keeps everyone engaged! Basically, you set up a number of “learning stations” in the classroom – designated tables or spaces where small groups of learners rotate.
