Text analysis What figures of speech can you find in the poem? (metaphors, alliterations, personifications, ….) Underline the pronouns they. What does they refer to in the first lines? And in the second part of the poem?

The poem can be divided into three main parts. Identify them and give a title to each of them. What is the meaning of the poem, according to you? Compare the Italian and the English versions. Discuss about the main similarities and differences of the two poems.
