11. RESIDENCY VERY IMPORTANT A minimum of 36 semester hours of 300- and/or 400-level course work must be successfully completed in residence at Texas A&M to obtain a baccalaureate degree. A minimum of 12 of these 36 semester hours must be in the major field of study.

Department Grading Requirement uMUST EARN a grade of “C” or better in BIOL 111 and 112. u TRANSFER STUDENTS must complete BIOL213 & BIOL214, CHEM227/237, CHEM228/238 & MATH147/148 within two semesters at TAMU. THE REGISTRATION PROCESS: 1) UNTIL 12:30PM: Ask any questions concerning your registration and/or degree plan. 2) REPORT to Second Floor of the Student Computing Center (SCC) by 1:45PM to prepare for class registration. Registration begins promptly at 2:00PM, so BE EARLY. While you wait for registration to open, you can organize your class options and accept the Lab Safety Acknowledgement. 3) Please be sure to verify your class selections with an advisor once your registration is complete. Pay fees (if needed) and have a student ID card made (if not already done). You may also go to a bookstore and purchase or reserve textbooks.
