1 Article 3: The Judicial Branch The Judicial Branch interprets the laws. This Branch includes the Supreme Court, The Highest Court in the Nation, and other Federal Courts

2 Why don’t you make a Federal Case out of it!!  The Supreme Court is the Highest Court in the US, but Congress can establish lower federal courts  The Federal Courts try any cases referring to laws under the constitution  Cases with Ambassadors and Public Ministers  Cases between two states  Cases between citizens and certain states

3 Appeals…Sounds like a Banana Court  The Supreme Court has Original Jurisdiction over cases involving ambassadors and when a state is involved  The Supreme Court is also the Final Appellate court in the United States  All Trials, Except for impeachment, are in front of a Jury where the crime was committeed
