2009-2010 Annual Reading Goals In 2009-2010, Grade 8 full academic year students will have a greater percentage of students proficient on the reading comprehension subtest of the ITBS than Grade 7 full academic year students in 2008- 2009. Gr. 7 2008-2009 71.2 Gr. 8 2009-2010 65.4

Corrective Actions If you teach 7 th and 8 th grade language arts, you will need to submit corrective actions to Mr. Mallicoat. These include instructional strategies, professional development, programs, technology, resources, etc. that will be used to help students succeed in the area of reading comprehension in grades 7 & 8. These ideas will be submitted in the 2009-2010 APR in September.
