How can you know if one thing caused another? If two things are related did they cause each other? What do you need to know to say one thing caused another?

Big idea you can use! When you hear data like “9 out of 10 doctors recommend”, or “Everyone thinks …”, etc. Ask yourself: How did they get the data? What group did they study? How did they measure the variables?
