5 Recruitment – more reassuring International – offers much higher, (280 versus 210) so should exceed target which is lower than last year. Masters offers up from 350 to 500 so should hit targets (predicted rise from 290 FTE to 315 FTE) Certs (programme) look positive

21 Strategic aims To grow our research-led undergraduate and postgraduate provision (both full- and part-time) overall by ten per cent in order to invest in academic staffing to support our research and teaching ambitions; To develop more effective cross-departmental and interdisciplinary teaching, particularly at postgraduate level by developing appropriate School structures; To strengthen our research through investment in environment and impact development and through pro-active management at individual, departmental, UoA and School levels; REF aspirations
