2 Who Can Get A Library Card? Adult cards are available to everyone over 17. Young adults, 13 to 17 years, get a Young Adult library card. Children through age 12 get a Juvenile card. Children and their parents or guardians must sign the child's card application. Children may borrow materials from all areas of the library, unless their parents request they borrow only from the children's area.

3 Borrowing Materials You can borrow -- Most books and audio books for three weeks NY Times bestsellers, videos and other popular materials for one week Adults and young adults who forget their library cards can check out books and materials. Show an ID with your name and signature and pay a $1 fee.

4 Renewing Materials Call 555-6700 before your materials are due. Have ready the barcode numbers on your library card and the barcodes on the materials you want to renew. You cannot renew videos, seven-day, or reserved materials.
