Ahmadabad, India – Dr Cyril Toma Will operate as a foundation (a non-profit organisation) which is a status that the BJD has already obtained and is free to carry on with. BJD has obtained the status of a WHO Collaborating Centre and the plan is to capitalise on that. The idea is to give leverage at the national / local level based on the status as a global movement. Ideas will be adapted on a regional basis and implemented through regional councils.

What will happen after 2010 First Step – To establish a structure for initiating a global musculoskeletal forum. – Continue to be a multi-discipline, multi-nation network which acts as a facilitator and a catalyst for change. – Aim to operate as a ‘think-tank’ – the officially recognised source of expertise and information in the global musculoskeletal arena.
