HOW TO MAKE CURRY SAUCE BY YVONNE NWAODUAH

INTRODUCTION Something my mother once told me is that cooking is an art. There is no one way to make anything. You can make your own interpretation of any dish. I am going to teach you how to make the easiest curry sauce ever!!!! ( I made it myself)

INGREDIENTS (serves 5) Chicken 2 teaspoons of curry 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper 1 teaspoon of thyme 1 teaspoon of garlic 1½ of ground red peppers 1 cup of mixed vegetables or bell peppers 1 cup of chopped Onion 2 Maggi or Knorr cubes Salt 1 tablespoon of butter Water

HOW TO MAKE (COOKING TIME : 1 HOUR) Wash the chicken and vegetables separately in warm water. Put the chicken; ½ teaspoon of black pepper, thyme and garlic; 1 teaspoon of curry and the red peppers;½ cup of onion; 2 cubes of knorr or maggi; and a pinch of salt into a mid-sized pot. Add water and let it cook for 30 minutes.

How to make (contd.) After 30 minutes, add the other ½ teaspoon of garlic, black pepper, thyme and the red peppers.; 1 teaspoon of curry and butter; and ½ cup of onion. When the sauce is almost ready, add one cup of mixed vegetables – they do not take long to cook so you want to add them at the end to keep the nutrients.
