4 Breaking the Cycle Evidence Mini-Presentation Learning Targets: I can research for a real-life example of a person who questions authority to break the cycle. I can verbally explain my interpretation of a piece of evidence. Directions: 1.Find an example of a person (past or current) who has questioned authority in order to break a specific cycle. 2.Email Mrs. Delacruz an online site (news article, website page, etc.) where you found this evidence. 3.On your assigned day, be prepared to tell the class about the person you researched. You must tell the class the following: (1) Person’s name (2) Person’s birthdate and date of death (if deceased) (3) Your interpretation of how he/she questioned authority to break a specific cycle {cycle of censorship, government control, educational inequality, racism, gender inequality, religious persecution, etc.) (5) A brief explanation on the source of your information. Is it a news source? Is it from an online encyclopedia? How do you know this is reliable?
