2. Sign in MyPanthers Username: – Graduation year, first initial, first 5 letters of last name – Example: 18cclark@mypanthers.org Password: – First and last initial, date of birth (6 digits, MMDDYYYY) – Example: cc123199

3. Create a Folder “+” in upper right corner – “new folder” Folder name is: Hour-Last name,First name – Example: “1-Clark,Chris” Click “Create” (Wait for further instructions)

4. Share a Folder Click on “>” arrow for folder – “who has access” click + – Type in khill1@mypanthers.org – Make sure “can edit” is checked Click “Add” This is now your drop box for class assignments Anything you put in (or create in) this folder is “turned in”

5. Create a Document (Gene Questions) Back on “My Drive” (or in this period’s folder*) Click “+” – “new document” – Last name,First name-assignment name – Example: Hill,Kevin-genequestions *If you create the document when you are in the folder, it will already be in the correct place.

6. Assignment (Gene Questions) Research online to find the answer to at least two of your questions from Bill Nye – Genes – Or any other questions you have about genetics. Number each questions, and write both the question and answer for each. See next slide for instructions on “turning in”.

7. Share (“turn in”) a Document (Note: This is already done if you created the document in the folder in the first place.) After completing the doc… – Click “done”, “close” – Find the doc under “recent” or “files” Click on the “>” arrow To share/turn in to teacher: – Click on the “actions” box in upper right corner – “move to” – Select folder you made for this class (ex. 1-last, first) To share with a classmate: – “who has access”, +, type in their mypanthers address
