Working in Coalitions Key Activities Building the Coalition Involvement and coordination in conducting the Assessment Post-Assessment Activities Key Strategies Delegation of Key Responsibilities (Commitments) Constant Coordination and involvement in activities Continuous Networking with stakeholders Empowerment and ownership Advice Know the needs and priorities of the Coalition members Treat the TAI Coalition as a network and not project-based Clear TOR in being a Coalition member to assume responsibilities and commitment

Role of Advisory Committee Key Activities Forming the Advisory Panel Consultations in Case study selections, Key Strategies Constant Coordination and involvement in activities Continuous Networking with stakeholders Direct engagement of Advisory Panel with NGO members and their Research Teams Empowerment and ownership Advice Ensure relevant stakeholders are involved (minority group, POs involved?) Seize opportunities to know political, social, and economic context of the country based on their expertise to identify case selections and in institutionalizing TAI Involve them in preparatory, research, and post assessment activities Clearly identify

Engaging the Government Key Strategies Constructive criticism in the Assessment Reaching out through the Advisory Panel Identifying target audience and knowing their needs: National, regional, and local government representatives (With the coalition if possible) Prepare Communication tools before engagement Advice Keep in mind to already inform concerned gov’t institutions about the Coalition, the Research, and the plans for the post-assessment. Find out where you can achieve direct engagement to achieve your objectives (National, regional or local level)
