2 2 What is 4-H on TRAC? vA program planning process designed to strengthen the local and county 4-H program by making it educational, interactive and fun.

3 3 Successful 4-H members and clubs require: vFamilies involved in supporting their 4-H member’s 4-H project and participation in local and county programs. vAll families and 4-H members share in leadership and responsibilities of being a member of the 4-H organization.

4 4 Local 4-H Programs should develop life skills. vDecision-making skills vCooperation vLeadership vGroup communications vTry new ideas vGain new knowledge and skills vPride in group endeavors vBuild self-confidence

5 5 A 4-H meeting should be: vOn a regular schedule vRun by youth officers & supervised by adults vOrganized vFun vEducational vProviding recognition and peer support vSupported by positive contact with adults
