4. School Direct with MMU 2013-14 Primary PGCE with 60 Masters level credits (120 credits in total-60 practice/60 academic) Primary SD PGCE is similar to the existing PGCE Increased payments to schools therefore expectation that schools have greater involvement in training etc

5. Finances 2013-14 All trainees pay £9,000 in university fees In the SD model the University pays approximately £3,000 (per trainee recruited) to the lead school. The funds to Lead Schools includes payments they make to other schools for the second placement, and all school-based support and training for the trainees.
