1. Toby’s Christmas By Mr. Jay

2. December 22 nd, 2006 Toby woke up, yawned and stretched. It was 6:30 in the morning. He suddenly realised he didn’t have to go to school because it was almost Christmas, and he smiled.

3. He decided to wake his sister Margaret up. She was very angry at being woken up so early during the holidays. Toby laughed.

4. “Why did you wake me up?” said Margaret. “I was bored,” said Toby, and he laughed. Toby was always mean to his sister. “You’re supposed to be nice to me! It’s almost Christmas,” said Margaret. Toby knew this was true. He went to his side of the room and started playing with his PSP.

5. December 23 rd, 2006 Toby woke up earlier than Margaret again. He thought it would be funny to put her favourite teddy bear, Poopy, in the toilet. Margaret was very upset with Toby.  Toby just laughed again.

6. Later that night, Toby and Margaret went to bed. Toby started dreaming. In his dream, he was walking on a cloud with his sister. They met a young lady in the clouds.

7. “Hello Toby, I’m Sabrina,” she said.“Hello Sabrina,” said Toby. “Toby, I know you have been mean to your sister. Tomorrow is Christmas day. If you want to have a truly merry Christmas, you have to treat her better. If you don’t, you’ll be sorry. Always remember Jesus loves you, Toby.”

8. December 24 th, 2006 Toby woke up early again. He remembered his dream from the night before and what the woman had told him. He let his sister sleep in and decided to make her breakfast. He got a bowl of cereal, a glass of milk, a banana, a carton of orange juice and some yoghurt. When Margaret woke up, she was very surprised. “Thanks Toby!” she said. “You’re welcome, Margaret!” said Toby. He was nice to her for the rest of the day.

9. December 25 th 2006 Toby woke up early again. His sister was already up for once. “Merry Christmas, Margaret!” said Toby. “Merry Christmas, Toby,” said Margaret. They went into the living room and looked for their presents under the tree. Toby had a new PSP game and his sister had a new teddy bear. It was a good Christmas.
