16  Click on Question Bank (left side of screen)  Create/Edit Labels  Scroll down – Create a new label  Type your label – click create  Make at least 3 labels  Click Back to Question Bank (top) Timer

17  Create new questions  Create at least 5 questions for your first 3 labels.  When finished with this minimum of 15 questions, click DONE.

18  Click: Quizzes (left side)  Notice on top:  Basic: Use if you are not using question in the bank  Advanced: Use when using questions in the bank.  Question Bank: This is where we just were making and labeling questions.  Click: Advanced  Create a new quiz  Title  Description: Think of this as your directions. This field is optional.

19  Section 2: Questions Insert  You have various options from where to pull questions.  Section 3: Settings  Section 4: Identity  Done…. More setting options

20  After clicking ‘done’ you will be taken back to the Quiz page.  Your Quiz and it’s URL (web address) will be listed.  Email me your link so we can share our quizzes with each other.

21 Jot down any feedback for the author of the quizzes.

22  Post on Progress Book  Post on class/teacher webpage  Post on Quia profile page  Put in word document, put in share drive, have students copy/paste  Use student Quia logins  Write on the board and have students type it in (though this can be messy since they can easily miss a letter/number)

23  Quiz Page  To the right of your quiz name, click “Grade”  Click the Pencil icon on the left to grade a particular question  Grade your quiz & analyze data  A good learning opportunity for your students is to see the Question Summary and decide what questions need to be further investigated.

33  Post common misspelled words so students do not get frustrated missing a question due to spelling  How many times are you going to let them take it? Are you going to take their average score or top score?  Can they practice at home?  Do they have to take them in a particular setting w/ particular teacher(s)?
