Types of Flours Name products that can be made using the following types of flour

Granary Flour – Contains the whole grain of the wheat including the bran or endosperm – nuts and seeds are also added Wholemeal Flour – Contains the whole grain of the wheat including the bran or endosperm Spelt Flour – made from a form of grain that doesn’t contain wheat or gluten Types of Flour Rye Flour – wheat free and high in fibre

Self Raising Flour – light flour that has little gluten plus has baking powder added to it to make things rise Plain Flour – light flour that has little gluten – does not rise Strong Bread Flour – white flour that has a high gluten content Type “00” Flour – extra fine flour that has been milled to make it finer – does not rise Types Of Flour
