If not, ask you DDD case manager to be on the waiver data base. You must need and ask for a service.  King County and the State of Washington supports school-to-work.  Families are networking to create housing options.  Specialized and normalized recreation and community classes and events are available  Life is Long and the Couch Gets Worn Out

3 Washington Initiative for Supported Employment www.gowise.org Age 18  Your child becomes their own guardian or you establish full guardianship or you establish partial guardianship.  Apply for Social Security. Find out how to complete the application correctly. Attend a family training workshop through the Arc of King County or call an information and referral staff person at the Arc, 206-364-3635.
