HANDLING A MICROSCOPE With your dominant hand grasp the arm Rest your other hand under the base of the microscope ALWAYS KEEP THE MICROSCOPE IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION!!

WHEN YOU ARE PUTTING THE MICROSCOPE AWAY… Remove the last slide you were working with and put it where it belongs Rotate the nosepiece so that the low power objective is in position Wind the cord around the base of the arm of the microscope
