You have a follow up plan in place for attendees (it is the first thing you should do when implementing the Presentation strategy) You have a presentation to present and brand you as an expert You have a way to promote the event to get Butts In the Seat How do you ensure your registrants will show up?

By having an RSVP Follow Up Plan Your target registered because they have “Good Intentions” of learning about your subject But lets face it, an Agents “good intentions” may be short lived Your RSVP plan will help you turn their “good intentions” into “Good Actions”

Just like your Follow Up Formula you must incorporate the 3 steps of Follow Up 1. Email 2. Greeting card 3. Phone call There is only a slight difference in what you say

Email – 3 emails = confirmation, reminder, confirmation Send a confirmation email as soon after registering as possible The confirmation email will include: Thank you Reinforce their Good Intentions Event Details Specific Instructions

Greeting Card – Send this as soon after they register as possible More like a Save the Date Still send this as a greeting card (will ensure it gets opened) You are not sending this in hopes they will hang it on the fridge or tack board, but simply to “touch” the registrant in a way that differentiates you (they expect the email NOT the card)

Phone Call – Make this call 24 to 48 hours before the class Have a “this or that” option (reason for calling) DO NOT say “calling to confirm you will be coming” Calling to confirm they will attend gives them an opportunity to back out (created by YOU) If they want to back out, let it be their idea not yours, asking if they are still coming implants the idea that it is ok if they don’t come
