Laser Discussion with Mitsubishi – Mitsubishi will offer their laser modules as a laser component and permit us to transfer them to other laser manufactures in order to assemble the laser system. – We will have a meeting on next Friday concerning the price and due date. Fiber laser – Commercial fiber laser: 40W=> 9MYen. – Two lasers will be introduced as a seed laser system. – We will have a meeting on next Thursday concerning the price and due date.

Mirror Size of the mirrors for main cavities (25cm or 30cm) should be determined. – Design of vibration isolation systems depends on this determination. – If a coating machine is newly developed, there is no significant difference between two sizes. – If LIGO mirrors are used, we consider their dimensions (  25cm x t10cm and 10kg). If we decide to make full use of LIGO’s mirrors for iLICGT, we can save money and time; this fact enables us to develop the elements that are necessary for bLCGT.

5. Plan A’ For iLCGT, the size of the mirrors is chosen as that of iLIGO’s mirror. BS and ITMs will be newly fabricated from Japanese Silica.
