Organization of Memory Memory is organized by sound, letter or meaning. Recall vs. Recognition Recall-recognition of possible targets & id of genuine ones Recognition- is the info correct? Handout- the Dwarfs

Types of Memory Short Term Memory- A form of transient memory. Max Capacity is 7 +/- two. Long Term Memory- information is held for days, hours, years. IN SHORT TERM? FLIP SHEET-name the seven dwarfs

Flashbulb memories- Define- Memories that are novel and biologically significant. A unique event that accompanies great joy, sorrow, or pain. What are your flashbulb memories?
