ARTIST Salvador dali- he is without doubt, the most famous member of the surrealist artist. Dali was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work.. Salvador Dali most important work is the The Persistence of Memory. Rene Magritte- This Belgian artist's work was opposite to that of the weird and insane works of Dali. He lived a quiet and "normal" life, married only one woman, and was very much a middle- class working man.
