2. Mandatory Grants: WSP/ATR To claim the Mandatory Grant, an employer must submit a combined Annual Training Report and a Workplace Skills Plan to AgriSETA by 30 June 2012. Only employers who's payroll is more than R500,000.00 per year may submit a Mandatory Grant Application. Employers with payroll less than that should deregister with SARS. Upon approval of the application, 50% of levies will be paid to the employers. The 40% of levies and 10% of Pivotal Grants will only commence in 2013. It is compulsory for employers with 50 or more permanent employees to complete and submit the ATR/WSP on line via the AgriSETA Seta Management System (SMS) May 2012

Mandatory Grants: WSP/ATR Special Request to submit a Hard Copy Format may be submitted if: Employers/SDFs who do not have internet access/poor connection; or If an organization is not yet available on AgriSETA system due to: Newly registered at SARS Employers who are submitting the application for the first time Organization which changed its registration name Inter-Seta Transfers The special request form is available on our website/CD May 2012

4. Mandatory Grants: WSP/ATR Most common issues with regards to applications Slow Response/NO Response from SDF’s/Employers on request from AgriSETA. Total number of employees (permanent/temporary) not completed in full at the organization information. Change of SDF without informing the SETA. Learning programme numbers not completed correctly/in full on the training profiles. Authorization pages: Not submitted to AgriSETA Not fully completed and signed The correct designated persons do not sign Copies of signatures uses instead of original signatures May 2012

(Starting with the ATR followed by the WSP) Two forms have been created for the new submission year: PIVOTAL (will be viewed on the SMS by Amandie) HIV/AIDS On the WSP Organization Info employment profile(G1,G2 & Pivotal sections) the municipality function has been added for reporting purposes. Mandatory Grants: WSP/ATR Changes for 2012/2013 : SMS: Start completing the ATR first SMS: The Submit button will only be available if ALL sections on the ATR/WSP are fully completed The upload function will still be available for the following: Fully completed and signed Authorization & Declaration Page Proof of Training pages (up to 20 pages) Copy of cheque /bank statement/bank letter May 2012

Mandatory Grants: WSP/ATR Proof of training completed: We require only a SAMPLE of proof of training completed as stated on the Annual Training Report (ATR) for 1 April 2011 up to 31 March 2012 (Maximum of 5 pages) Note: additional proof of training may be requested after application has been evaluated. Do not sent more than 1 page per learning programme/training course. (E.g. Invoice + certificate + attendance) Do not sent proof of training per employee (E.g. 5 five certificates for tractor training) Do not sent any petrol/tollgate slips, catering invoices, airline tickets, hotel accommodation invoices, quotations, training programmes etc. May 2012
