Sculptures in gardens Welcome to The Gardens of the Fountain in Nîmes

The Gardens of the Fountain (Les Jardins de la Fontaine) is a park created in 1750 around the founding spring of the city of Nîmes (Nemausus) and antique monuments (Tour Magne, Temple de Diane). Here we can find different sculptures inspired by the mythology or sculptures of famous people of Nîmes.

4 statues located on both sides of the principal path are the copies, the original works are attributed to Nicolas- Sébastien Adam (1705- 1778).

Flore Flore is a goddess of flowers and the season of spring Endymion Son of Zeus according to the mythology Sylvain Satyr and human at the same time, he symbolises wild nature
