Student Induction General: Introduction and welcome by Course Leader and information on the year to come and the course team Ensure all students meet their Personal Tutor Simple, focused and short as possible based on ‘a need to know basis’

Student Induction Level 4: The year ahead, level 4 details & key aspects of the transition from School/ college to University Definitions: Faculty/ lectures/ semester/ seminars etc Course/ module/ assessment details Student Rep elections (SU) & importance of student feedback

Student Induction Level 5 & 6: The year ahead, level details, & key aspects of transition from L4 to L5 & from L5 to L6 Module and assessment details NB: Exams before Christmas unless exemption gained Level 5: Marks count/ classifications/ placement preparation Level 6: Dissertation/ project issues Student Rep election (SU) & importance of student feedback
