4 Explanation The data does not support our class’ hypothesis: The field is the hottest from the data.(non-concrete) Top floor of multi-storey carpark, terraces and fountain area outside general office rank at fourth, fifth and third respectively.(concrete) The hotter places like field and running track receive direct sunlight. The other places receive some form of shade from surrounding objects. E.g. Cars absorb some of the heat, buildings/trees shade the fountain area/terraces.
