5. Statistics Canada disseminates data at various geographical levels. The geographical hierarchy is organized into Administrative and Statistical geographic areas.

11. A dissemination area (DA) is a small, relatively stable geographic unit with a population of 400 to 700 persons.

13. A relatively permanent area resembling a small urban neighbourhood or rural community They are located in large urban centres that must have an urban core population of 50,000 or more. Population range 2,500 and 8,000 (4,000 preferred)
