14 Recommendations of the 1 st IRU-LAS-AULT Seminar TOACTION LAS- Recommend joining and implementing key UN transport conventions and agreements, - Encourage IRU and AULT for joint studies. IRU-Assist LAS Members to make national plans to improve road transport, - Prepare joint projects with LAS and AULT. AULT- Continue cooperation to identify actual bottlenecks and remedies for real needs. IDB- Support regional efforts and projects for trade and road transport facilitation. 16 Recommendations of the 2 nd IRU-LAS-AULT Seminar TOACTION LAS- Note that knowledge transfer and training is key to target main cause of all accidents, - Welcome Member States taking action to join and implement key UN transport conventions and agreements in partnership with IRU, IRU- Assist LAS Members to target main cause of accidents, - Encourage cooperation between Arab Academy and IRU Academy, - Continue cooperation with LAS and AULT, AULT- Continue cooperation with the IRU to develop professional training of managers and drivers in the LAS region. IDB- Support regional efforts and projects to reduce road fatalities. UN- Join and support LAS and IRU efforts to conduct studies and improve road safety. - Continue efforts to provide safe and adequate infrastructure.
