Hypothesis My Hypothesis is that the large wheels on the mouse trap car will make the mouse trap car go the farthest.

Materials & Procedure Materials: 3 mousetraps. Foam board. String.
Wooden dowels. 8 I inch wheels. 2 inch ½ wheels. coat hanger. Rubber cement. tape measure Pins sewing bobbins plastic drinking straws Procedure: Assemble 3 mouse trap cars , all with one inch wheels on the front . One with 1 inch back tires, one with 1 ½ inch tires , and one with 2 inch tire line up each car on the starting line let go of the metal band. Run each car 5 times. Average each cars distance compare results to deter man which wheel size produced the farthest distance.

Control & Variables Control: 1 inch back tires
Variables: 1 ½ back tires and another with 2 inch back tires

Conclusion….. Based on my Analysis of data the bigger the tires on the mousetrap car goes the farthest.
