Region 5 Vision Region 5 shall be an organization in which all electro and information technology professionals feel that they should be participating members and that all industries, government, and academia support IEEE as organizations and want their technical professionals to be active members

Region 5 Mission To enrich the experience of IEEE members in Region 5 with quality programs, career and skill development opportunities, information on IEEE services, and recognition to allow members to get the most from their IEEE membership. To participate in the community at large and interact with industry, government, and academia

Section Officer Role Define activities that benefit the local member Build a plan to focus activity Encourage interested volunteers to carry out activities Communicate with members to build participation Ask for help from your Region!

Find the resources to support your sections and members Communicate with your sections/members Allocate Time on a regular basis to your IEEE job You are responsible for an important part of Region/Section activities
