4 Samsung Galaxy Tablet Once powered on swipe anywhere on the screen to proceed

5 Samsung Galaxy Tablet To adjust volume press volume selector up or down to achieve desired volume (located below power button) Volume

6 Samsung Galaxy Tablet Secondary Menu Place finger on Samsung logo and swipe down to reveal menu Adjust different functions such as volume and brightness by sliding bars back and forth When finished simply slide menu back up with finger

7 Tablet Charging Note To ensure that the tablet remains operational, it must remain plugged into the truck while on shift. When the tablet is not in use, it is to remain on a charger to make sure it starts for the next driver at 100%

8 The ERS Mobile Plus App only works vertically (portrait), it will not rotate to horizontal (landscape) Use screen rotation lock feature

30 The location of the breakdown will usually load automatically into maps, but there may be times you will need to manually enter it

31 When vehicle is in motion, Google maps will appear over the call screens. This is to prevent utilizing the ERS Mobile Plus app while the service vehicle is in motion.

33 If you are logged out it will bring you back to the sign in screen. Simply re-enter your password and you will be signed back in. Your calls will return momentarily

34 Phone ahead or member call out You will need to pull over and stop to use this, as the tablet will only show map screen while in motion

37 For Phone Ahead, next to the phone number (if the call has one) will be one of the following: (Y): Yes to auto call out (Y5): Yes, auto call out 5 min before On Scene (D): Dispatcher must call out, no auto (N): No call out / no phone number

39 After selecting phone out, the Calls Overview screen will reappear. When the phone ahead has been performed, you will get a message stating the result. Completed, Incomplete, Busy Signal, or Machine Answer.

44 Timing Information RE- Received time DI- Dispatched time ETA- Estimated time of arrival OS – On scene will show time you marked call on scene. Will be beneficial for winch times, wait times etc.

45 Opens a words- only version of Towing & Service Manual. You will need to verify the vehicle when the next window pops up for this function Change year, make, model, etc.

46 Note damage or anything other information you feel is important here. Once you’re done with your comments, scroll up anywhere in here… Or hit the back button ONCE to make the keyboard disappear

47 Touch Submit

48 Touch Under Tow, next window will allow you to confirm the tow destination, or enter a new one here

49 Touch BACK button ONCE, then SUBMIT to go Under Tow

50 When UT, map will usually load the directions to the tow destination, but sometimes you may need to manually enter it

52 Select Clear from anywhere in that RSR, just make sure it’s the call you want to close out

53 Leave blank Select Regular Clear, if the call requires it, by touching the check box. A green check mark will appear in that box. Same with Out of Territory & Flatbed, if needed.

54 This box will be pre-populated with how the call came in to AAA. DO NOT change this box

55 We now need to tell the system what we did on this call. When you touch one of these boxes, a drop down menu will appear, 1 ST is Go or No Go: Select Go or No-Go Go if member is driving away No-Go if towing

56 Next is the Resolution. Select the description that best fits what you did on that call. Recommended resolutions will be on top. If none of those fit the call, scroll down to the one that does.

57 Leave as is, DO NOT change.

58 Do Not Use Optional

59 All Clearing codes go into the OTHER line. When you touch the blank area, the keyboard will pop up. Any other comments can be placed here, again, up to 1000 characters

60 OTHER line is used for any additional services or time that needs to be accounted for on an RSR. In this example it is Regular Plus Miles 11, Skates, and Wait Time of 5 minutes. All entries in this field must be in code form. Consult the handout for code meaning.

61 When everything is entered, scroll down to Submit or hit back icon once to hide keyboard, then hit Submit

62 After submitting clear, the Calls Overview screen will reappear with Clear Pending in the status. It may take a few moments, but you should receive the cleared message

63 If after a minute and the call has not cleared go back into call clearing screen as you may have missed something. It could be as simple as not putting a space between characters in the OTHER line

64 By touching and holding for 2 seconds, the Menu icon at the bottom left of the Calls Overview screen (2 Rectangles), 5 options will appear. They are: Settings: System Settings Refresh: Reset calls History: RSR cleared by driver since signed on Driver Status: Sign out, etc. Messages:

65 You can send a message to AAA dispatch here. Once you have typed your message tap the return arrow, then submit

66 By touching and holding for 2 seconds, the Menu icon at the bottom left of the Calls Overview screen (2 Rectangles), 5 options will appear. They are: Settings: System Settings Messages: Send text to dispatch Refresh: Reset calls History: RSR cleared by driver since signed on Driver Status:

67 Select your desired break time by scrolling, then set. A countdown timer will appear

68 Sign out At end of shift select the sign out button to sign off the tablet You cannot sign off tablet with active calls on the screen

69 Samsung Galaxy Tablet Power off and restart To power off the tablet simply press and hold power button, and select power off when it appears If you need to restart the tablet for any reason, hold the power button, select restart, and the tablet will shut down and restart within a few moments
