2. Trento is a small town in the north of Italy near Verona. It’s on the bank of the river Adige, surrounded by mountains. It has about 100.000 inhabitants. In the historical centre there are a lot of monuments for example: the Cathedral, the Diocesan museum,the ancient remains of the city and the castle of Buonconsiglio. Then there a lot of shops: pubs, clothes stores, ice cream shops, etc..Furthermore, every year in this city we have festivals.The most important is the Festival of S.Vigilio. Finally, there are many entertaimments for example funfairs, the palace of ice,skate parks and many parks. This is the map of Trentino-AltoAdige.

3. 1)Cathedral: It’s in the centre of Trento,called S.Vigilio. There are different styles: Romanic in the apse,trensept and tiburio, in the nave,the pillars and rosettes;baroque in the chapel of Sacrament and the facade of the civic tower.In front of the cathedral there is a place with the fountain of Nettuno.It’s the symbol of the town. 5. Diocesan museum: The Diocesan museum is situated in the basement of the Civic Tower and near the cathedral.It was founded in 1903.
