Opportunities Sportivate – funding aimed at 14-25 years olds Holiday Programme Olympics –Volunteering –100 days to the Olympics Active Together – 16+ activities Sports Clubs

Sportivate Funding for activity for 14-25 year olds Activities must be a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 8 weeks Participants must attend 5/6, 6/7,7/8 weeks. Retention focused Must be clear exit routes to similar activities

Run in: – February Half Term – Easter – Summer – October Half Term Programme aimed at 0 -19 year olds Evaluate each programme BUT want feedback from non users Holiday Programmes

Olympics 100 days to the Olympics – Event to celebrate and inspire people Volunteering opportunities at Loughborough University. Roles include being involved with: Kitting Out Driving Team IT Torch Relay in Leicestershire Sports Venue Team Translators Press/Media Security Clerical/Secretarial http://www.lboro.ac.uk/london2012/getting-involved/medal-makers/

Active Together and Sports Clubs Funded until 31 st March 2012 16+ Physical Activity Funded through NHS and Leicestershire County Council Brochures – signpost to activity Projects – targeted work Sports Clubs – Club Directory on line: https://www.charnwood.gov.uk/club_directory
