Health Insurance for College Students In 2006, New Hampshire passed “Michelle’s Law” In 2008, President Bush made “Michelle’s Law” a federal law effective October 9, 2009. Michelle’s mom made hope happen for other college students across the nation.

Letter Writing Write personal letters to your friends, family, and coworkers Include a self addressed envelope Balance fact with feeling Make the ask Give a 10 day deadline Handwrite a quick message and sign it Follow up with a thank you

Putting It Into Practice Look at your nametag to find your group number (1-4) Find the table with the envelope with your number on it In your groups, read the scenario and brainstorm solutions Have a scribe A few groups will share ideas and the rest will be emailed out
