Finally, add up all the weights and remember to state the answer grams (g). Be sure each of the larger weights is in a notch, not in between!

Volume Measurement of the amount of space an object takes up – Measured in milliliters (ml) for liquids or cm 3 for solids

Remember If you use water displacement to measure the volume of an irregular solid, your result will be in mL. You MUST state the answer in cm 3 because it is a solid!!!! 1mL = 1 cm 3 so just write cm 3 instead of ml. Example:12.3 mL = 12.3 cm 3
