GrandsonGrandmother This character is dynamic and round because he changes his personality a lot and he has many character traits. This character is static and flat because she stays her calm self the whole story and she is flat because she has a few character traits.

This story has a couple of settings but the main one is in a hotel called the Hotel Magnificent which is in a town called Norway.

The conflict in the story is that all the witches in Norway are making a formula to make all the children in Norway turn into rats. The type of conflict is Man vs. Man because it is a boy who is trying to stop the Grand High Witch and her assistants from turning every kid into a rat. The resolution is that the boy and grandmother teams up to turn the witches into rats and the accomplished their goal.

My prediction in the book was that the grandmother was a witch herself. But my prediction was wrong because she was not a witch.

The message that the author is trying to give to you is that everyone might not be who the are even though they look kind and nice.
