(1) Supervisor: Trains and evaluates landscape maintenance crews. Interprets job assignments to staff under charge and assigns duties to crews of varying sizes and skills; establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet schedules Plans and coordinates landscape maintenance at various sites; analyzes and resolves work problems to maximize efficiency.

(1) EOIII: Employee functions in a lead capacity. Monitors productivity and work flow of crews under charge; ensures adherence to established deadlines and policies. Performs labor intensive, complex construction, maintenance and problem solving. Works independently or as the leader of a work crew in installation, maintenance and repair of the irrigation systems and hold a spray license.

(1) EOII: Employee functions in a lead capacity. Employee is distinguished from that of the entry level position by knowledge and proficiency gained through training and experience. Performs labor intensive, moderately complex construction, maintenance and repair work. Operates equipment that includes, back-hoes, loaders, mowers, chippers, dozers, forklifts, rollers, trenchers, and heavy equipment/trucks

(2) EOI: Performs entry-level to semi-skilled vehicle and equipment operation in the installation, maintenance and repair tasks associated with landscape maintenance. Performs semi skilled labor intensive construction and maintenance of landscape areas. Performs a variety of grounds maintenance tasks, e.g., edging, mowing, trimming, waste and litter removal, fertilizing, placing sod, raking, planting.

(2)Maintenance Worker: Employees in this classification function at journey level. Performs a variety of grounds maintenance tasks, e.g., edging, mowing, trimming, waste and litter removal, fertilizing, placing sod, raking, planting. Position performs a variety of labor intensive work. May utilize a wide variety of manual, gas and electric powered hand tools, e.g., shovel, rake, digging bar, chainsaw, chemical sprayer leaf blowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, edger.
