3 VALORI:Valorize the differences by training, inclusion and job paths The Province of Livorno is the project leader and the management and coordination partner is PROVINCIA di LIVORNO Sviluppo PROJECT "VALORI" (valorise the differences by training, inclusion and job paths) is the intent of the partners to IMPROVE the diversity at work by training the human resources executives, public officials included, to facilitate the inclusion in the labor market of persons with disabilities or disadvantaged, and to promote processes of improving business climate. The Job Centre as a subject for public employment policies have an important role for services in favor of inclusion of disadvantaged people in the labour market. 5 VALORI:Valorize the differences by training, inclusion and job paths Valori: valorize the differences with training paths, job inclusion, work - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/551 LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation The Jobs Centers of the Province of Livorno Tasks and Services JOB CENTERS ARE managed by the Provinces and are part of the system of Employment Services which includes activities of -information, –orientation, –advice, –aid, even financial Services rendered by the regional system to promove : –the match between demand and supply of labour, –access to training, –promoting entrepreneurship, –development of employment initiatives.

7 VALORI:Valorize the differences by training, inclusion and job paths The topics covered : Equal Opportunities legislation and focus on discrimination communication / interaction and social work: integration techniques. Analysis of relational dynamics and environmental organization working to identify and overcome barriers associated with resistance to the inclusion of disadvantaged and social prejudices of potential colleagues ; Analysis of the labor market and occupations: construction techniques "pathways into" experimental disadvantaged groups, analysis of the characteristics of professionalism required, analysis of new adaptations and any other activities Diversity Management: What is diversity management, highlighting the differences and overcome the weaknesses in the company by comparing common techniques for managing diversity, the techniques of mediation between the company and employee to overcome any operational difficulties and / or critical phases in business climate. 8 VALORI:Valorize the differences by training, inclusion and job paths The value of acquired skills compared to my job: guidance in Public Employment Service  develop the capability of managing relationships with users, but mainly the relationships between colleagues  provide the public service of trained staff to manage diversity  strengthen the capacity of public administration to manage "diversity" as a source for innovation and competitiveness  improve the work participation of people with disabilities / disadvantaged  build more inclusive work environment for the disadvantaged people  support processes to improve the climate at the workplace Valori: valorize the differences with training paths, job inclusion, work - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/551 LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation

Main problems incurred: 1. DIFFICULTY BETWEEN YOU AND THE COMPANY 2. PERSONAL'S PROBLEMS 3. 11 VALORI:Valorize the differences by training, inclusion and job paths Concluding Remarks The added value of Job Tutor Facilitation in the Public Service, particularly in Jobs Centers:  For public operators greater powers in dealing with diversity both in terms of technical and professional skills - especially for the disabled – related to colleagues and other services  Increasing the Services with important issues such as placement in the company of disadvantaged and disabled people  Give support directly to disadvantaged people, avoiding they remain at the borders of the services themselves  Underline the focus of the public service for social inclusion  Exploit the strengths of the most disadvantaged people. 12 VALORI:Valorize the differences by training, inclusion and job paths Concluding Remarks The JFT is a figure that combines the skills of a tutor with that of a facilitator, acting as a link between the company and the person disabled / disadvantaged people in this particular historical and economic context it is fundamental that public officials and managers of the companies have tools that allows to overcome difficulties and possible "crisis" with employees THE ROLE OF THE JFT as FACILITATOR CAN: MAKE POSSIBLE JOB INSERTIONS which at first seem impossible HELP THE COMPANY to overcome discrimination at workplace Valori: valorize the differences with training paths, job inclusion, work - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/551 LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of innovation
