How to Speak Aussie!
Directions: You are going to write a postcard to a friend. You will design the front of the card and write your friend a letter on the back. You will make your postcard on a half sheet of copier paper (split it with a friend!)
Front: Draw a picture on the front of your postcard. The picture should be something about Australia- either a map, or a picture of the Outback. Something that would tell your friend where you’ve been.
Back:
The topic of your letter can be about anything you want (school appropriate)!! Some suggestions are:
Your summer plans
A funny experience that happened to you
A vacation you took to Australia (use your imagination!)
There is no minimum or maximum length for your letter, but you must include 20 slang words!
