2. Objectives Overall:  Promotion of security of EU external borders by enhancing technical capacities for combating illegal migration and human trafficking Specific:  Strengthening capacities of MFA by introducing high “e-Government” standards in DMCP practice

Results  New rules of procedure for efficient implementation of “consular” legislation has been developed and introduced  All DMCP incorporated in unified MFA network for consular information exchange  Better quality of statistical and financial information in relation to consular activities  Introduction paperless flow of official documents  MFA/DCONSA staff trained and capable for training delivery and management of consular procedures in DMCP
