In Radom during excavations many cemeteries were found that are examples of prehistoric human presence on the land of Radom 2

St Bernardine monastery was fifteenth in Poland. Place for its construction was designated in 1468 and has been approved by the bishop of Krakow. Initially, the church and monastery were built of wood. Today it is one of the best preserved monasteries in Poland. 3

4 The building of city council. It was built and designed in classical style by Antonio Corazzi in the years 1825– 1827. It served as the residence of the Sandomierz Voivodship Commission. It also has some museum rooms and a concert hall.

The first town hall was built in the time of King Casimir the Great. The current town hall was built in the years 1845-48. It is the seat of the National Archives. 5

The cathedral of the Holy Virgin Mary was built over the years 1896-1911 to the design of Joseph Dziekonski, a well- known architect of these times. The design relates to French Gothic. The towers resemble these in the Krakow’s Church of Mary. 6

The Parish of Our Lady Queen of the World is one of the newest parishes in Radom. The church was completed last year, after 30 years of works. It is the most modern church in Radom. 7
