Question #2: How do writes persuade their readers? Realistic fiction writers persuade their readers by tying in real life situations. Authors can make their book known to the public by talking about it online and telling friends. Realistic fiction books are based on true feelings and places “Realistic fiction" means fiction that is realistic or lifelike ("Realistic Fiction must be more real than reality.“) The things said in the book is real and the way people react to certain situations are based on truths The character isn’t usually a real person ("popular realistic-fiction books.") “The books are based on today’s world and have plot`s.” ("Realistic Fiction — Sherwood Public Library.")

Realistic fiction has “characters dealing with real life problems” so the author would need to research how people of that age group would react to certain situations. Realistic fiction has to do with “real life” situations, so the author needs to research different events that could happen to their character ("popular realistic-fiction books." ).

Question 6: How do authors get people to make them want to read their book? Authors know “teens love realistic fiction because it allows them to try on different roles” so they write books about people teens look up to ("Realistic Teen Fiction” ) Authors “tell everyone about it” and leave them hanging so the person wants to read it to find out what happens Authors “link their books on blogs and websites” telling people about it ("Encourage people to read your book.").

Question 7: Is everything the author write true? “Realistic fiction features believable teen characters in true-to-life situations” Not every thing written in a realistic fiction book is true ("Realistic Teen Fiction”). The characters “have real feelings” and “do things that some people have done”
