To promote the success of all students by emphasizing the importance of technology and incorporating multiple forms of technology so that it is at the forefront of every classroom in order to provide students with the skills needed to respond and adapt in the 21 st Century. (ISLLC 1) I believe technology should be in the hands of the learner and used to challenge students to meet high goals.

Get teachers on board with the use of multiple forms of technology within each classroom by providing support, teaching strategies and professional development throughout the year to accomplish vision. (ISLLC 1) Provide an opportunity at the beginning of the year for teacher to share ideas and discuss best practices for the use of different kinds of technology (Power point, smart boards, Ipad labs, laptops) and develop a schedule for professional development opportunities based off of the needs of the staff.
4
Get the students on board with this vision by putting the technology in the hands of the learner and teaching them how to responsibly and effectively use the technology. (ISLLC 1) Students must be allowed access to the technology in the form of laptops in order to develop, reinforce and master the skills discussed within the classroom setting. This can be accomplished by providing laptop carts or providing laptops to each individual student.
5
Get the community on board by discussing this vision to all parents at the beginning of the school year during back to school night and through informative letters and providing technology development classes to parents throughout the year. (ISLLC 1) In order for this vision to be successful, parents will have to reinforce the importance of technology at home. The school will offer basic courses on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint and any other forms of technology that may interest parents and members of the community. Students are welcome to attend classes, as well. Teachers who instruct technology courses for parents will receive $20 an hour.

In order for this vision to be successful, all administrators in the building must be committed. Principals must learn, master, and model effective use of technology throughout the year. (ISLLC 1) All principals must demonstrate knowledge about best practices for technology in order to effectively evaluate teachers on their use of technology within their classes. Principals must be visibly using different forms of technology to lead by example. School District will provide professional development for Principals so that they can stay ahead and set a good example for the teachers, students and parents.
7
We must continue to adapt to new technology and different uses of technology within the classroom setting. (ISLLC 1) In order to make this vision a success we must continue to develop and grow as a school system We must keep the technology functional and state of the art and provide continued opportunities for professional development for years to come. In order to create a technological culture we must continue to reinforce our beliefs and be consistent year after year.
