6 The structure of the description 1. LOCATION (describe where things are in the picture ) What can you see in the picture? Where are things placed in the picture?

7 The structure of the description 2. PLACE (mention something about the place) Where is it? What´s the place / scenery like?

8 The structure of the description 3. ACTION (describe what is happening ) What are the people doing?

9 The structure of the description 4. PEOPLE (talk about people´s appearance, clothes, relationship) What are the people like? What are they wearing? How are they related?

10 The structure of the description 5. IDEAS & OTHER DETAILS (give extra information about the scene to add further details to your description) What has happened? What do you think will happen next? What is the weather like? What else can be interesting in the picture?

11 The structure of the description 6. IMPRESSION (give some impressions and opinions) How do they look? What is his/her emotional state? What are they thinking/talking about?
