1 How to install ScanRouter V2 www.Ricoh-USA.com Metro Sales Inc.

2 NOTE: This install does require two reboots! Click Here to download “ScanRouter V2 Lite” You must still agree to the license agreement at http://www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads/ http://www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads/ This will take you to the Ricoh download for ScanRouter Last Update: 2004/02/19 22:00:00

3 Once download completes, click “Open Folder” Uncheck the box “Close this dialog box when download completes” Save the file in a location easy to find. i.e. C:\ScanRouter Select save this program to disk and click OK.

4 Double click on the downloaded fileClick OK Change the destination to “.” And click “Unzip” When unzip finishes click close.

5 Double click on “RouterLt”

6 Double click on setup

7 Select “Run in service mode”

8 Click finish… let your computer finish starting up …and restart the computer at this time.

10 By default there is no Password Click OK

11 Click Server

12 Click on “Add” Now type a name in for this copier/scanner. and click OK NOTE: It may talk a minute or two before the next screen is displayed Type the IP address of your copier/scanner NOTE: It may talk a minute or two before the next screen is displayed Click OK

13 NOTE: This portion assumes that the folder(s) you want to scan to are already in place Right click your mouse in the right pane. Left click on user. Type the name in the name field. Click on the drop down in the lower portion Select “save as windows file” and Click “Add” Click on browse Double click on “C:” Double click on “Scans” Single Click “John Smith” And click OK Pick the file type that you want to have the file saved as. Click OK
