Resource Centers outside Kathmandu Regional WASH Resource Centre at RMSO/DWSS, Surkhet MOU signed by WASH-RCNN/ENPHO, RMSO/DWSS, UNICEF, WHO and SNV WASH RC will serve as a Secretariat of Regional Water Supply and Sanitation Coordination Committee (RWSSCC) of Mid-Western Region District level WASH Resource Centre WSSDO, Chitwan FSCN, Rupandehi

Water Expertise and Training Center In Coordination of CHRDU/DWSS; Conducted following capacity building trainings: Six trainings on Biosand Filter construction and promotion. 81 participants (6 Female); Two trainings on safe water and sanitation. 20 participants (12 Female); One training on Low Cost Sanitation. 10 participants (3 Female) Increased demand for trainings from local organizations; More than 1000 biosand filters distributed by trained local entrepreneurs

The way forward - Regional WASH RCs 1 st phase (Sept. – Dec. 2010) Establishment of information desk, library and development of various proto type models on WASH related technologies 2 nd phase (Jan. – Sept. 2011) Construction of life size models of various Water and Sanitation technologies 3 rd phase (Sept. 2011 – Aug. 2012) Establishment of regional WASH learning and sharing center
